Meet Hanna Lanyon

Clinical Psychologist & Director

Hanna is the Practice Director and a Clinical Psychologist at Mindset Health Hub. She takes a strengths-based and creative approach, helping clients recognise their strengths, develop practical skills and work toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Hanna completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at QUT in 2017. She has broad experience working across the lifespan, and has worked in youth, unemployment, and disability settings. These experiences strengthened her commitment to advocacy, accessibility, human rights and providing thoughtful, sustainable care.

Hanna began working in private practice in 2021 and founded Mindset Health Hub to create a workplace where clinicians could provide clients with the time, attention and consistency they deserve. In 2023, she opened the Beenleigh clinic with the aim of creating a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment for both clients and practitioners.

Hanna's Story

Born and raised on the southside, Hanna has lived in Brisbane/Logan all of her life. She enjoys rock music, bird-watching, arts, DIY and gardening.

Hanna is trained in the following therapies and uses an integrative approach:

  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Solutions Focussed Brief Therapy

  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy (EMDR)

  • Neurodiversity-Affirming EMDR

  • Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1 (not currently offering couples therapy)
